Have any of you seen those little dark brown bugs mixed in with your crickets?
I am not sure what they are and was wondering if anyone here knew and if they are safe to feed to a beardie.

If they are the same as the ones I get they look like a caterpillar and turn into a beetle thing that flies. They eat flesh and are used in taxidermy to remove meat from bones without discoloring it. The caterpillars do most of the work. Once they turn into beetles they mostly lay eggs.

My BDs love the caterpillar looking ones but I kill the beetles as they fly and can lay eggs anywhere. They also have a hard exoskeleton
