WOW WHAT A CUTIE PIE!! I cant wait to get one!!! Anyone know where i could adopt one? I have everything ready for one or two of them.

Or mabey you shouldn't because you don't seem to know about these lizards. These are not like green iguanas, where there is a surplus of free unwanted green iguanas. Plan on coughing up around $250 to $300 for a baby and $900 to $1500 for an adult.

I do know alot about them i have constructed a huge outdoor inclosure for them. I just cant get them where i live. Have any good sugestions on where to buy? Or are you stuck on giving jack ass remarks?

Okay, this Jack Ass will give you some advice. Outdoor enclosures in Oregon will shorten the life span of your cyclura considerably. Your better off building a heated green house if you need to keep them outdoors. Make sure you have thermostats to monitor heat on those rare sunny days so it won't get too hot, and have a back-up generator for those cold day power outages. The back-up generator has saved my animals many times. These green houses can be built for under $1,500.00. If you wish to buy a cyclura, rhinos and cubans can be sold interstate and are often available in the lizard classifieds.----JA

LOL thanks. Its really not that cold here. Its usually around 100 to 106 in the summer with the spring being around the 75 to 80 mark. It just rains alot in winter here. I havent seen any snow in 4 years. I do have a green house that could be assembled and attached to my outdoor pen. I was also thinking along the lines of a wood stove in the green house. With somthing like a wire cages built around it to keep them away from it. How do they do with wood heat? Does this sound like it might work?
