Better watch it tonight. This morning I saw the promo for tonights show. Why do people keep dangerous exotics ? (showing a picture of a BCI) This is probably a bad thing. You may want to reply to his website after you watch.

This is not a coincidence people. The PETA people, animals right wackos and other liberal organizations that are bent on relegating mankind to "species" status in the world, are well funded and well organized to do everything in their power to influence public opinion in the direction that a hit piece like this will inevitably take public opinion. This isn't too hard to do given the fact that most people have an aversion for Reptiles in general and snakes in particular anyhow. This is only the beginning.

It's unfortunate that most people will allow the knee jerk reaction and say, "yea, that should be illegal". Most do not think it through or frankly really care about the people that keep "dangerous" animals. This regardless of the fact that most of the animals that will be shown undoubtedly will not actually be "dangerous" at all.

All the more reason to be prudent and fill out that Federal Register information request form.

PETA's whole mission is to have total animal liberation. This means no pets in your home, no riding horses, no animals involved with food of any kind (milk, eggs..etc.), no silkworms being used for fabric, and no animals being used to come up with medicines to save human life. Everyone thinks they are only out to set laboratory animals loose. If you don't believe me, read their charter. It's quite plain.

How about one of the big-name breeders e-mail/call the O'Reilly
show and offer to appear?? Filling out USFWS forms doesn't hurt,
but to think we can win this "war" solely by passively following
directions of (suspect) organizations is naive, imo. The only way to win this war is to aggressively and emphatically expose groups like PETA for what they are, and at the same time use the media exposure to educate people about the reality of snakes.
I just emailed the O'Reilly show, but I doubt one e-mail is going to accomplish anything.

I think it's obvious the slant he'll have if the snake already scared him.. yaaaaay :/
