Finally some action.....

miloradovich Mar 13, 2008 08:51 PM

I have really been hoping to see some breeding interest from these two and finally, just when I was starting to give up...

I've been catching this the last couple of evenings.

I did see some exposed hemipenes and insertion late last night but they seemed to be getting tired of my voyerism so I left them alone.

This pair brought me the following little beauties last year so you can see why I am hopefull for this pairing again. I am keeping my fingers crossed they'll give me such nice babies for a second time.

Anyway thanks for looking and letting me share.
Milo

I thought I'd add a pic that I thought came out well. Unrelated to the above group but these are three sisters that I got from Basically Boas and can't seem to get enough of. I thought this picture illustrates the diverstiy between sibings well.

Thanks, leopards are one of my favorites too. I like that there is such a deversity of looks among them. The two posted, born last year from those parents were actually the first leopards that I have seen in person so as you can imagine I have been quite taken with them. I have another pair of hets that may or may not breed this season. I am hoping that those will give me a different looking leopard from this pair. The other hets certainly look different from this pair so I guess I'll have to wait and see.

Milo, I know what you mean. The first leopard I had seen was the one I bought. There arent to many of them out there which I dont mind at all. I like having something different, kind of like the new olive pythons I just picked up, not alot of people have them.

Those truly are awesome.
Are they and the next group all pure Sonoran, or what?
I swear that striped one looks so Costa Rican.

Yeah, they are pure sonoran. I used those two non-leopard sibs for the photos only because they were the most recent to shed but the striped one is definately one of my favorites. Some of the others look very similiar to her and have the striping as well but her's is the longest and her background color is one of the lightest of the litter. I like that the hets from the leopard lineage can be so unique in their own right.
