Feeding the pine that regurgitated

CFlowers Mar 14, 2008 12:09 PM

This weekend it will be 2 weeks since my 07 Depi Jani reguritated. I have treated her with Grapefruit Seed Extract. She weighed 36.8gms the next day after puking but now she weigs 33.8 so that sucks!!! I plan on feeding a pinkie head this sat or sun but would you just do a pink head and wait a week or do a pink head and wait a few days and then do a pink? Thoughts please.
Take Care
Chris

I would still wait at least a week before feeding again. If it is throwing up pinkies there is definately a problem. You might explain the grapefruit thing. I don't know anything about it. It might be that more people would chime in if they understood what it was supposed do, or how it is supposed to work. Best of luck to you. It is really tough to come back from where your deppei is at now. Take care!

You'll have to do a search on it. But it is a natural thing some people have used with good results to cure the regur problems. It works good on bactieria problems to both on humans and animals

But the pine didnt puke up pinkies it was large fuzzies and its temps were to high. But you say wait another week? (meaning it will be 3 weeks from the last puking) its already lost 5grms on a 35 grm snake that seems like alot.

I just meant wait another week after you feed the pinkie head. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Thank you for the link. I haven't had a chance to look at it yet but I definately will. Good luck and take care!

No prob man. I feed her the pink head today and she took it no prob. I also moved her and the rest of my pines into my kitchen LOL (its the coolest part of our house) with small heat pads. So I'll keep my fingers crossed. The GSE seems to be a nice natural thing to use for herps and people google it and you'll see. Wish me luck. And thanks again
