Albino female from a local pet store

dmasio13 Mar 15, 2008 09:51 AM

First off let me say the title is a little misleading. I live just a little south of Columbus Ohio I used to frequent a small mom & pop pet store in the south end of Columbus (Jeff's Pets) I got to know the owners very well so whenever a large ball python would come in they would give me a call and if it was a large female I would buy it for $50-60.00 depending on her size. Well I dont need any more normal adult females I have them falling out my wazoo so after this breeding season Im fattening them up and moving a bunch out. Anyway Old Jeff (his son is Young Jeff) called me Wednesday and asked me what I thought a 1000 gram female albino ball was worth I told him I woudl guess in the range of 2,000-2,500 (just a guess from looking at the ads if you ever see a female albino that size for sale. So he explained he had a guy that NEEDED to get rid of this animal he was moving and couldnt take her with him. I said fine have him meet me at your shop and I will pop and probe the ball. So I get there Friday after work and prob it sure enough a female I get her home and shes just shy of 900 gram and the best part $650.00 WOW. I did get her from a pet store but they werent the actual sellers. Here are some pics enjoy and thanks for reading

Are you sure the guy that sold it to you was the rightful owner? Snakes are stolen all the time.

It pays to talk with the small shop owners!

They are who I go to about 99% of the time, unless they dont have something (fish related) that I need. They are some really nice hillbilly boys over there.
