Baytril ?s

loukor2 Mar 15, 2008 10:14 AM

So ive given my snake 3 shots of Baytril for his respitory infection. I also put the towel over the cage screen lid and wrapped it in reflectix (I think this has done more good). Reading a response that antibiotics can shorten a snakes life, I'm reluctant to finish em off even though I know it has to be done.

Anyhow he still hasn't shed the top of his head and his one eyecap (probably 2-3 sheds worth). The vet told me she didn't want the aquarium too wet because of the RI. Should I soak him or not worry about the shed at all?

Thanks,

Lou
