Okay, so I hadn't seen Eddie in about two weeks. I figured he was probably shedding, so I didn't try digging in there after him, but I started thinking all kinds of things like maybe he'd escaped like Lizzie did, maybe the UTH malfunctioned, all sorts of things. Well, I looked in the cage this morning and what did I find?
He shed! Thank goodness. I was worrying since I hadn't seen him shed since I brought him home. He'd left this beautiful, full shed wrapped around some of the plants in his terrarium and the end of it was down into one of his burrows. I pulled it out very gently, in case he was still attached. This shed was absolutely perfect, even down to the eye caps. ^_^
If he comes out later for something to eat, I'll get some pictures of his beautiful new skin. 
Also, I'm quite certain even every bit of the tail is on this shed, but I'm going to double check him and make sure he doesn't still have any on his tail.
