I realize that by purchasing a frog from Petco, I am making space for another one, but I also wrote the store a letter, and their set-up has changed. And my efforts, whether or not it is going to be replaced, were worthwhile. I'd rather be thinking positively than negatively and say that I saved that frog's life. I know I can't save every single frog. And I purchase things from PetCo other than the frogs, so I am supporting none the less. It doesn't bother me that they keep those frogs, it was just the conditions they kept them in. All the reptiles and other animals were treated well, and were in good condition...clean cages, no feces and such. It was just the treefrogs. I walked into buy crickets the other day, and they were cleaning the cages, so what I did was definitely worth it. I'm glad I bought the frog so I could say something to the store, and let them know. Anyways...everyone always tells me that I write a paragraph where all that's needed is a sentence...meaning I talk to much. I agree both ways...obviously with myself more so, but also to the fact that they're just going to buy more. I just hope the keep the cages clean so no other frogs get sick.
