If you know the date copulation occured (or an estimate), laying usually occurs about 28 days later. My own experience has shown that some dragons eat right up to the lay date and others back off a couple of days before. Just watch for digging and BE PREPARED. Go ahead and have your incubator heating up, and get your lay box ready. GOOD LUCK!!!

Some beardies are picky about what they lay their eggs in and some don't care AT ALL. If your beardie is digging a lot and just refuse to lay, try changing the moisture level or the medium. If your beardie does not care then you'll need to watch out for eggs drying out before you can get to it.

I agree w/ the 28 days between copulation and egg laying.

Good Luck!
