sav wont let me cut his nails

ive got one [bleep]y sav monitor and he will not sit still long enough for me to cut his nails...any kind of rough substrate or alternate to wear his nails down

I doubt you will get other replies, but think about how and where the organism lives in its natural habitat. If you can provide for the animal with its natural histroy and natural environment in mind, you will not have to nor will you ever cut its nails. Do some leg work on where it lives and what it lives in.

Hint: It does not live in a Candyland ten gallon aquarium on astroturf, playsand, or bark chips.
