Well, it's no secret that I'm a bit of a green thayeri fanatic, and I've been noticing something over the last couple of years. It seems to me that all the greenish thayeri that are females turn olive-colored or dark green, and the males turn or stay light green. Makes me wonder if the the genes for green coloration are sex-linked.
For all of you that have kept green thayeri, have you noticed this to be the case as well?
Perhaps the exception is with yellowish-green thayeri. Here are photos of a few yellow/green ones I have...
