im not joking, 24 pics! i used flash this time so most pics came out nice and clear, and some even have the "rainbow" effect. i fed her a f/t hopper mouse...i accidently dropped it, lol, so thats why its sitting in the tub...she seems to like swallowing butt first. the 2 meals shes eaten with me have been butt first. she doesnt even constrict her prey, she bites it, drags it into a comfy corner, and swallows. anyway, on to the pics!!!!!!BTW, shes in a feeding tub..i dont wanna feed her on moss....

..Nice PICs. She can eat meals three times that size. Eating little mice like that she swallows butt first because she can. Feed her something larger and she will figure out that head first is required.

thanks for the reply jeff. i thought with rainbows u had to feed something only a tad larger than her girth...what kind of mouse would you recommend?

....That mouse in your PICs is a fuzzy or crawler. Hoppers are larger than that and are big enough that they can run around and hop out of your hands when you pick them up. I have fed mice as large as jumbo adults to newborn BRBs for their first meal. Meals that large do result in some regurgitations. I think a big hopper mouse or pinky rat is ideal for baby BRBs. Many of mine will pass up a fuzzy or crawler mouse and take a hopper instead. After they have grown past 20 inches in length they do well on small adult mice or fuzzy rats.

ok. i am hopefully getting some rats next week. i have 1 more fuzy left. after i feed that ill get a larger mouse.
