This is exactly what I mean... below in my post about "scales to small" your tang looks just like what I was describing. Please understand I mean no disrespect by pointing this out in your pic. I am just trying to understand why some Hondos look this way. Your hondos are great good luck with their clutch.

Chris, I really doubt you would ever see this in a w/c animal unless it was totally gravid.I think its just because we feed them very well.I wouldn't say they are obese but they are way fatter than a w/c would be.

This girl is ovulating. Most of our females blow up like balloons when they are ovulating. You have to be careful that you do not assume that they are gravid at times when they are only ovulating. Back to your original post, we have seen some that are stretched out a bit, but I would agree that more food and less activity may be a factor.
