Been really busy with taking care of all the snake and working on my new garage room. It's coming together but waht a pain, since it's a garage, none of the existing "planes" are level and plumb. Both the roof and floor slope - in different directions and the exterior garage wall is not plumb. Add to that the existing ceiling joists were not spaced evenly or straight.

Net of it all is installing the sheetrock is a nightmare, every sheet has to be custom fit. Getting there, 80% of the ceiling is done and 1 1/2 of three walls are also done.

OK, so you want to see some pics? Here are some from the last few weeks....

Abby one of my Will Bird 07 abby's

Ginger - another Will Bird, lotsa color on this one

Zoe - dorsal striped from Jesse

Aubergine - a pearl

SANA14 - a holdback from Savannahs 2007 litter

Chrissy - my number one het hypo from the Colling/Lockwood project

Melanie - My holdback from Betty's 2007 litter

Amber - my holdback from Savannah's 2005 litter

Gertrude - My holdback from Bullseye's 2007 litter

Dave,
...Someone who does cabinet grade carpentry should never mess with dry wall. It just shows you what slobs framing carpenters are. Dry wallers do not usaully custom fit the sheets. They just slap them up and use "mud" to fill the gaps. Nice snaky PICs. Good luck with the calico project.

LOL, I've seen one of those mud patches after 20 years, stuck out like a sore thumb!!!

That's why I can't justify paying people to do work for me, I might take longer but in the end the job is done soooooo much better!!

I'm quite excited to see Fluffy being such an active breeder!!

I like most of 'em too. Bo Peep's kinda cute, she just doesnt have enough sparkle on her. Can you tweak some of it in for us?

paulbuck Mar 18, 2008 07:36 PM

Really, really, nice Dave. It'll be interesting to see what happens with Fluffy's sired litter.
Thanks for sharing,
Paul
