I was wondering if i should get a few fire bellied toads. from what i hear they are very easy to care for. they are cheap too, so do they have any odd needs that make them hard to care for?

firebellies make great pets. they tend to have a long lifespan if bought young, so keep that in mind (make sure you would like to have frogs long term.) you could keep two in a 15-gallon tank with a substrate of sterile soil or, more preferably, coconut fiber bedding. They need a water bowl that is at least an inch deep, but no more than 2 inches, for they soak in it nearly all the time. water needs changing daily. firebellies are toxic, so an escape proofed tank is needed, and you NEED to wash your hands after handling them! my friend did not, and he itched his eye, and it turned red and burned. but this was his fault

Can 2 be kept in a 10 gal. i am kinda limited on the money$$$
I have 2 FBT in a 10 gallon aquarium. I've read over and over again that a FBT needs no less than 4 gallons of aquarium space per each toad.
I have three in a 10 gallon and they are doing just fine.
I just recently bought 3 firebelly toads and I love them! They are the funniest things. They are very easy to care for. I give them new water daily and they get about 2 live crickets each every other day. I even have a little waterfall in the tank for them...they LOVE water so you have to make sure there is plenty of water. I keep the tank they are in around 80 degrees and they like it humid. But they are toxic so make sure to wash your hands after handling them. I clean the tank once every other week.
Also make sure your water is ok. What I do is fill a soda bottle with water and some ReptiSafe (you can get it at a pet store--blue gooey kinda stuff) and just use that to fill the water bowl and waterfall daily. It makes the water safe for the toads.
Good Luck, they're neat little critters.
