housing corn snake in plastic box

i was wanting to know if anyone housed their snakes in tubaware boxes? if so, how did you help keep the lid on tight so the snake wont escape? any suggestions?

I use sterilite tubs, drill holes for air, and use a rack.

i also use sterilite. except i solder holes for ventilation. and the only snakes i have a problem with escaping i used bungee cords. you can get tons for real cheap.

I find drilling to be easier - start with a very small bit and work your up and it doesn't crack them.

I've done both ways and once that iron gets hot it goes thru faster than a drill bit, only have to do it once, doesn't crack and there is no mess to clean up.

I've used plastic shoe boxes with hinged snap-on lids for babies and in some cases the larger version of these boxes for adults.
