WTF.........

Ok. My female has not eaten since mid December. I still offer every week on the same schedule but she has not interest whatsoever. Now my male pastel has gone a month without food. And the female has been starting to act really weird (see pic). Sometimes she will lay like that but with her belly completley up and only her head and neck turned the right way. I don't know if it has anything to do with it but this was the first winter since they reached sexual maturity. I've double and triple checked and yes the warm/cool temps (hide on each side) are optimum and the humidity is perfect. Other than that they act like they always have. Now what?

As long as they are not losing weight don't worry, it is normal for balls to do this in the winter. I didn't see the pic but let me guess she is lying on her back? Probably also normal...especially if she is gravid! Did they breed for you?

I eat human infants. They, like everything else, taste like chicken. What?

A little help with the picture posting:

Have you been breeding the two - they will go off feed in the winter especially if they are breeding - so it's not really something to be concerned over unless they are loosing a lot of weight.

She maybe laying cool or laying inverted because she is developing follicles.

Could be a few things but if you are breeding them then there you go - if you arent breeding them - then there could be some other issues going on.

Crap. I hate trying to post pics on here. Thanks for getting it for me! I have not locked them up. I didn't know if I could just put them in their enclosures or not (with all of the decorations) to do it since I see everyone on here either has a rack system or uses a big rubbermaid container so I was going to wait until next year. So since I'm not breeding at his time, what other issues am I looking at? I am feeding F/T and both of them have been food whores since I got them. Been about a year and a half now. I started feeding in the enclosure then switched to a seperate container and the feed resonse NEVER changed until the weather did. If they didn't take I would leave it in overnight and it would be gone by morning. So I have no idea what's going on. My corn has never refused a meal and eats double sometimes.

Still normal ball behavior in the winter. They are nothing like corns. As long as they don't lose weight, don't worry.
