I use one of the grey sterilite totes, with two clip lights. One has a 75 watt light bulb, the other a ceramic element to maintain temp through the night. I have organic topsoil about half full. I have to spray over a quart of water a day to keep it moist though, never thought there would be that much evaporation. My temps at the surface under the light is about 100, mid 80's ambiant temp for the rest.

i have a group of 9 outside,i think you have say only a pair living in the same box(Dune)with lights etc....
Good set up,i have seen pros do it that way, with watering troughs but you can still harvest eggs to a humid enclosure.

or get a higher trough so the sand/soil doesnt dry out so quickly. Thanks Chris.............

They live in there own enclosures, I just put them in the laybox once I notice them digging. I have 18 but I'm only going to breed a couple a year and probably only hatch a clutch or two from each breeding. Its a hobby, don't want it to turn into a "JOB".
