Eggs and mold?

dacherrypicker Mar 20, 2008 10:43 AM

I have a couple eggs that were laid about a month ago and are developing fine! But the weird thing is that they are growing mold on them. Still developing but getting moldy!! Any suggestions? Change their vermiculite maybe? Maybe put some perlite in? Thanks!

This is usually a case of them being too moist, try using less water.

I would get a new container put fresh moist not soggy vermiculite in it carefully take the egg and using a q-tip wipe off the mold and place in fresh container. I think your vermiculite was too wet. gl
