A colubrid...yes I think. And deffinately an albino...err...for those of you who break the traits down even further, it lacks black pigmentation and has red eyes. At first we thought corn but doesn't carry the same pattern as our younger one ( however we have taken into account that there are variable pattern differences between ages). Then we thought albino prarie king, then from the backs of our minds whispers of pine snake were being heard. So, what do yall think. Oh, and by the way, we got it from a person who had it dumped on him and cared not much for it. But, for us it was like hitting gold! Truely a magnificent specimen to our collection!!!!!
Thanks yall!

I'd have to go with albino bullsnake or gopher snake. Definitely not corn, & I think the head shape marks it as a Pituophis. This much you can bet on..it's a rodent-eating constrictor.

I agree, some kind of Pituophis. Pines seem to be the most popular as pets

Doesnt appear to me as a pine...but more of something like a Sonoran or bull. Andy

It could be an albino bull, but more likely I think it is probably an albino Sonoran gopher, they are much more common than albino bulls.
