what a great day.. Friends are so cool

A friend of mine just did a demolition contract for a hotel.

Each room had a deluxe shower with sliding glass doors.

Were talking insulated, framed up safety glass with heavily
polished aluminum frames. 5 feet by 2.5 feet.

3 guesses what these will be good for.

I leaned it up against my front door to demonstarte the sheer size of these panels.

And just in time too, it's the season, and I plan on adopting several more slithering children.

I'll post a photo of the finished work.

Peace,

Well my friend has secured a bunch of these, I build my own enclosures from 3/4 inch press-board. (the stuff counter tops are made of)

Oriented horizontally, I can build an enclosure that would be very suitable for any snake 3 feet and over.

Another option is to install a partition in the center, (again horizontally) yielding 2 spacious "rooms" with a very attractive front.

I have been thinking how cool a tall pentagon with polished aluminum framework on a hardwood base would look. And yes if I went through with that, I would gladly adopt an arboreal snake to put in there

I know of several folks who have used jewelry displays from stores, and even an old soda fridge with glass doors.

Personally I prefer to give my snakes room to move around and explore, as well it is easier to maintain a cool end / warm end with long enclosures.

Another part that I found very attractive here is that this glass is engineered so that if a human slipped an fell in the shower, it will not break.

Can't complain about the price either
