What size tank do you have? If your tank is big (55g ), than Id suggest P.grandis. If the tank is small (20g), Id go for Laticauda, or other 3-4 incher.....basicly, the majoraty of days have similair care.

20 gallon but i thought 1 male grandis could live comfortably in a 20 gallon terrerium

no, grandis are very active, and if given a small tank, they become obese, and ill (I keep mine in a 4x3x5 foot tank) . Id go for the gold dust If I were you.(I keep mine in a 20g high), and he's doing fine.

I would agree, my tokay is about 8 inches and he looked really cramped in a 20 high. I got him a 4x2x2. Still a bit shorter than what I wanted to get but it was free so I couldnt complain..
