The BIG day is here!!

My tiger Retic het albino is laying eggs today. I have bred many Burmese, but this is only the 2nd clutch of retics for me. My 1st Retic clutch was a couple of weeks ago, a purple albino bred to an albino tiger male. She was only 13 ft or so and laid 24 eggs and some slugs, I didn't know she was gravid for sure. There was no doubt the Tiger was gravid. She is 16 ft and huge with eggs.

I have removed eggs from Burmese countless times, but I know Retics are different. The purple female was no trouble, but with the Tiger I'm having a friend with more Retic experience come over to help. I'll let you know later tonight how many she has laid. BTW, she was bred to the same albino tiger male that the purple female was bred to, I might hatch albino super tigers.

Tom,
Greg from the Retic Ranch is coming over this evening to help. I think she has laid 50 or more, I hope so anyway.

The grand total is 43 perfect eggs and one slug. She put up a little struggle, but it wasn't too bad.
