My collareds were woken up last Monday, the male was a little skinny due to the mild weather, but is eating like a pig. I've seen absolutely no indication that they were in for some loving, but my sister and I just witnessed mating.... no head bobbing, no hip dragging, nothing. Just a quick chew on her neck and straight in there, and the female, who is showing no signs of gravid coloration made absolutely no attempt to move away, or roll over like I've seen her do before. Last year it was about 8 weeks before anything happened, is that normal??
