Greetings

Back to feeding questions--our baby boa, since being born 2/1, ate 2 live pinky mice 3/1, 1 fuzzy f/t mouse 3/8, and 1 f/t pinky rat 3/15. There was a stain I thought was urates a few weeks ago, but nothing before or since.
Last time we had baby boas, they were on 2 f/t fuzzy mice weekly, and probably had about 8 mice in them before they pooped, but they were passing urates before that.
1) should I be feeding more and smaller meals (fuzzy mice, not pinky rats?)
2) should I be worried yet about the lack of excretory output?

I'd rather be paranoid than missing something that I should be taking the pookie to the vet for.

Thanks for your time,
Antigone

P.s. Tried soaking in warm water last night for 10 minutes of constant tries to escape the sink. Still nothing today.

Exercise (like escaping the sink... but watch he doesn't get stuck in the overflow) will help keep things regular, as will hydration. It sounds like you're doing everything fine. Keep encouraging food, and excrement will come when it does. Maybe the next shed will come with an extra big surprise.
