I got a Stillwater hypo (or two), they are incredible even at this age!

A nice pair of deppei jani, too. Really, I'm not trying to copy you. It is interesting to me that what always looked like an odd "sheen" on these in photos isn't just in pics, I see it on these juveniles as well.

Okay, the Stillwater hypo is a morph, I do realize that. But this hypo patternless het axanthic bull is a lot "morphier", don't you think?
It's just that I wanted to see what I'd get from pairing this snake with the quad het male I got from Jonel Lopez. That seems perfectly sensible to me, I doubt anyone could disagree with my logic.

That's a gorgeous snake!

I decided my old sig was too big.
LOL!!!! Never enough Pits around for my taste! Take care! Here I'll mix it up a bit. This is my female Red Phase Western Coach. She's a hand full!

I forgot to also mention those are some fine animals you have there! Oh the addiction is strong! Take care!

Hi Andy,
It would seem that great minds have the same taste in snakes :-D Ive been a Pit nutt since I was a juvi (lol). I used to catch pacific gophers when I lived in CA and then Bullsnakes when I moved to NM. They were the first snakes I ever encountered and the fasination as turned into a life long ambition.
Your snakes are beautiful man! I realy love that last bullsnake. Though "morphs" aren't really my thing I do love the clean, soild color shown in that snake. I once had a luesistic southern pine for a short time and she was absolutely breath taking!
Your stillwater bull is smoking as well! I actualy visited Stillwater OK a few years back and although I didnt find any sayi I was told my my friend that supposedly all of the bulls from that area had a hypo appearance. He wasnt a pit guy however and I dont know if he was correct. It would be nice to hear from some of the folks here weather or not that is true.
Jani are amazing animals! Though ive only had my pair for 2 days now I am already hooked on them. One of my neonates is already starting to show some orange in it, especially around the head. Though the pics I posted dont show it I took some pretty good macro shots with my new Canon Powershot G9 and the colors came out much clearer. I will post them over the weekend.
Whom did you get your jani from? I picked up my pair from regal reptiles. Im very interested in obtaining additional lines of these guys. Maybe once we grow ours up we can swap babies?
Well my friend, we are definately doing a good job of representing Pituophis in Va
I will have to leave it to you after this summer however. Im moving up to NY with my girl friend. Due to their horribly strict venomous laws I had to bail out of hot herps yet again
After my initial departure I got back into it and picked up a bunch of eyelash babies but I just gave them over to Derek Morgan since my move is coming up
One day I will be back LOL
Thanks for sharing the pic Andy! You have some very impressive Pits!
Take care bud,
Jeremy
Girlfriend NewYork = 2X Whammy on snakes, that's for sure!
It's always worked with my girlfriends, there really would be no choice in the matter. But New York state, the hots would have to go, true. Couldn't pick a better new home than with one of the squamiger brothers.
At least in that yankee state you can have northern pines.
I got my jani from Matt Turner, who could resist? Now "colubridman" will have some this summer and I will have to get another pair. The only question is, where will I be forced to get southerns from? It really isn't a question of "if" I will, I no longer pretend about that.
Even more funny! I see now that I'm the wrong Jeremy for your post! I was wondering who else in Kansas was into pits! There are a few of us but not many. Regardless you do have some nice animals! Thanks for posting.
Jeremy
No worries at all. I have admired the pictures of the animals that you've posted, glad you like the ones I have.
Andy
Beautiful snake. It looked like a deserticola @ first. You really can't go wrong w/ anything from Jason.
