food preparing question ?

1. If you are asking because you have left a mouse in warm water for two hours and is worried that the mouse may have gone bad, I don't think that you have anything to worry about. This, of course, is assuming taht the mouse is other wise of high quality before you thawed it. You can also use your nose to smell it and see if it smells just like a regular mouse or a rotten mouse.

2. If you are asking because you plan to regularly thaw mice in warm water for two hours, then I would say, you don't need warm water. You can use room temp water and in two hours, the mouse will be nicely thawed to room temp. Then just take a heat lamp or a toaster oven to briefly warm it up so you can entice your BP to eat.
