Is the Asian Rock the Indian Python , and I didn’t see the Burm on the list . David

Yes, P. molurus includes Indian and Burmese as its subspecies.

I've recently seen Burms referred to as "Burmese Rock Pythons"
also. Not sure why, I think calling them Rock pythons is confusing.

Thanks,
Ed

Yes, Asian Rock Pythons include, Indians, Burmese and Sri Lankan's, they include all sub-species, i.e. regarding Texas laws, which as I understand, goes into effect April 1st.

from what i found the permits are available starting April first, receipts work as a 21 day temporary permit so I'm guessing they wont actually ask for permits till the 21st to allow people to get them, just what i got from it anyways, I'll be getting them on the first if at all possible

Thanks
Zack

As I underdstand it, the first thing they will ban is patternless morphs of native rattlesnakes, seeing that it is not a normal C. atrox. So, if any of you guys have those out there, send them to me and you won't be fined by TPWD! (they are legal in Arkansas) LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Tim is probably having a stroke about now)
