Anyone have Alabama easterns?

I'm just wondering, how many people have Alabama eastern box turtles, other than me. All the people I talk to that keep easterns either got them as captive bred babies from wild NC or SC parents, or have wild NC or SC adults. Also, I've noticed that compared to my Alabama female, Eastern females from other states have lighter colored shells and skin.
