Sexing T. marginata

VICtort Mar 22, 2008 02:59 AM

I have a heard of 8 T. marginata, 99's and 2000's. I have a difficult time sexing them, and with all the "thrill humping" going on this Spring, I am even more confused. Some of them will hump anything, they are very active and not selective...I am starting to wonder if I in fact have any females. Can someone with experience with marginata advise on sexing them? There is a large variation in size, and I suspect some of the smaller to be females, but I find them on top from time to time...maybe they are just sexually adventurous...and don't care since they are apparently just "thrill humping" and intromission is not yet occurring. What say the brethren? Comments on sexing marginata please... Vic
