New Colubrid Rack - 41Q Tubs

KenRoshak Mar 22, 2008 03:51 PM

I built my first rack to house adult corns and San Diego gophers. It's made of 3/4" melamine and plywood and uses 41 quart Sterilite tubs. It stores 10 tubs. Because I live in the Midwest and my basement can get a little cool I decided to use a "heat barrier" on the backside. I couldn't find Reflectix but this other product, called AstroFoil, looked identical. I attached a photo and the link describes it in more detail. I also used castors to wheel it around my basement.

It's my first rack so feel free to let me know if you see any problems with the design or products used.

Oh, and I'm using an 11" strip of Flex-watt down the inside, back-end as a radiant heat source and using an Alife thermostat to control it.
