Breeding D. Leucs in vertical 10

DKiM128 Aug 28, 2003 09:06 PM

I was wondering if it is possible to breed them in a vertical 10. I'm planning on making bigger enclosure, but I"m having problems making the enclosure. It might take a while, so I was wondering if it was possible to get a vertical 10 for now, and try breeding them in the vertical 10. Making the new tank may take forever. If it is possible, can you teach me what I need to put in their, such as coconut huts or film canister?

Get a 20gal high or a 29gal for them, and some huts. My leucs sleep high, but hunt, and spend most of the day on the ground.

DK, if you use a ten gallon don't make it vertical. They will prefer the floor space over the height.

As for breeding it should be fairly easy with high humidity and a nice hut style hiding spot. However, I have to ask, what age frogs are you getting? If you buy froglets like most everyone does then it will be a long time before you see tads. By the time they are breeding you will be a PDF expert.

Good luck,
joe

I'm going to try to find people who sells them around 9-12 month old. Hm.......now I'm wondering what I should do.
