ballfreak Mar 23, 2008 09:26 AM

i have three balls around 1100 grams not eating for months? i know they go off feed but i feel they should be eating by now. i was thinking about trying to give them a african soft fur rat to see what happens? or maybe a mouse? what do you guys think? maybe just keep waiting a few more weeks? im open for suggestions.

Don't stress on it - depending on when they went off feed it could be April or Mayish before they pick up again. Make sure they have plenty of water and they'll be fine.

I've got a male that's eaten once since November. He's not losing any weight, so I'm not worried.

Give 'em time, watch their weight, and as long as they're not losing a significant amount... you're in the clear.

Personally, I like to keep offering meals every week, even when I don't expect them to eat. I offer them a rat first, and if they don't eat it, then I feed it to one of the snakes that IS eating.
