Great to see Terry... hopefully the big guy is up to the task this year! Very curious to see what you 'prove' out with all your breedings this season. Good luck and have a good one...

Chris

Terry:

Congrats on the first hook-up. That male is insane.

Two questions:
1. Do you always pair up your snakes for breeding in bare cages? Are you concerned about shavings during breedings?

2. Are you pairing your snakes up after their first shed from coming out of cool down or have they only had one shed since warming up for Spring? Mine generally show no interest in breeding until after their second shed.

thanks and good luck this season!

Hello Rob,I always breed mine in a bare cage with paper towels, that way I can always tell if they have bred, because there is always semen left behind. If need be you have the semen to check to see if it is viable as well. Also my Hondurans never breed until their second shed .I always put a shed in with them and spray it with water,it drives the male nuts.Good luch with your breeding this season
