Im going to make a couple racks out of HDPE (Rigid High-Density Polyethylene)because its fire extinguishing, its going to be 1/4" so i dont think i can use screws. What glue/sealent do you think i should use? Also are there any other cheaper Fire extinguishing materials? or just any others in general?
thanks,
Reed

Nothing adheres to HDPE. Only HDPE. There are rods of HDPE used to weld joints.

You can use small screws with 1/4".

1/4" HDPE won't be rigid enough for a rack in my opinion. But maybe you found a product that is. If so, there is not a lot that will stock to it.

I would cut dados for the shelves and contact UPS to see which of their weld-on products will stick to it. Maybe one of their caulk type adhesives will stick, but I doubt it. You could ask if epoxy will stick.
