Tiny breakthrough

madeleine Aug 28, 2003 09:37 PM

My little red tegu (the one I recently acquired that has MBD and is only 5" S-V at over a year in age) has been very skittish around humans since the day I got her. She tends to run and hide behind her log when I open the cage, and absolutely hates being taken out to be soaked (the first time in the water she death rolled like an alligator, then came up sputtering and panicked). Anyway, this morning I opened the cage, and she hurried right up to me to see what goodies I might have brought her. She did that twice today. Maybe she's finally calming down a little!
