Pardon the shadow present in some of these shots. The filter attachment blocks part of the built in flash. I just purchased an external flash so hopefuly that will take care of the shadow.

Thanks Jeremy I cant wait to see P.d.russeli grow into his/her adult colors I really hope the blotches stay oval instead of turning the more typical squared/triangular shape seen on most other pits (though I think its a safe bet that they will stay as is). I just wish they extended down the whole back instead of being isolated to the first third of the snake. They definately give him/her character
Im glad you liked the shots Hopefully I will be able to take a few photos without casting a shadow on half of the animal with in the next few days (waiting on my flash).
