Help! He won't eat veggies..

constanceann Mar 24, 2008 12:40 PM

Our beardie "Rocky" is approx 5 mo old and is almost 18" to end of tail. We've had him since he was 1 1/2 mo. He's a voracious cricket consumer, at least 50 a day in two feedings. I dust them every 3 days or so as well. But, he eats almost no veggies, just picks a little at them. I give him fresh greens, carrot, squash, fruit pieces every day and not much interest. He seems content and poops at least twice a day.
Is this OK? Do I need to add something else to his diet?
Appreciate your help!

I'm not one of the experts here, but my Bindy wouldn't touch greens until she was almost a year old. I hear it's quite normal. Just keep offering them, and he'll eat them when he's ready.

Good luck...*holla* to Rocky!
