I forgot who I read this from, but someone suggested to someone that they put a damp towel over the cage instead of saran wrap to increase the humidity.
I noticed yesterday Dexter's eyes were cloudy, so instead of soaking him every other day or so (my latest routine), I put a damp towel on his cage. The humidity jumped from 32 to 66 percent! And it's sustained at that level.
I'm going to keep doing this until he sheds. If I get a perfect or nearly perfect shed out of him with this method, this will definitely be my routine from now on!
