Timor monitors are too timid??

zhughes Mar 24, 2008 06:00 PM

Anyone aware of a subspecies of Timors that are not so flighty/shy. Seems they have been coined "no fun" due to their reclusive nature. There must be a small hanful of sub- species in this complex. Has anyone found a certain type that is more suitable for an interesting captive? Thank you.

Here are a few photos of my V.Similis, a dwarf species but not in the same complex...in my opinion.
GREAT Monitors!!!
Hard to find now a days!

Shy, I don't think so!

One of my favotite species!
