A catch from the high desert of SoCal...Pics

Hi, I'm sure this isn't too interesting with some of the amayzing images on this forum but I thought I'd share anyway...Searching for rattlesnakes has brought me to this pretty little guy...he is a Great Basin Gopher Snake (Pituophis cantenifer deserticola). He is one of the cleanest and prettiest wild caught animals I have ever seen! Not a rattlesnake but a great catch none-the-less! Trying to photo a fast mover like this was tough so I apoligize for some of the pics!

Is that the color phase you usually see at that location?

that is one exceptional deserticola!! looks like he could use a meal though.....

I'm picking up a pair of Lancaster locale Great Basins that were produced by Del A. But that is definitely a great looking snake. I hope to someday have some very nice light colored animals such as the one you posted. Congrats again, and if you find anymore like that please take some pics and post them.
