First Eggs!

wolfenwarrior Mar 25, 2008 11:33 AM

My female sunglow just laid a clutch of 14 wonderful looking eggs! This is my first year breeding my own animals and I've been so giddy about it that the guys at work are threatening to throw a baby shower! Haha! I'm really excited to see what the babies look like, since both parents are nice sunglows (especially the male, who was on breeding loan from a friend). Grr, waiting until they hatch is going to be rough.

Congrats!! The wait is still hard, even for those who have been doing it for a while. When them little heads begin to pop out, it will all have been worth it.

Congrats. I just got my first clutch of the season also. I've only been breeding snakes since 2002 - 2003 season. I started out breeding venomous. I bred Corns and Kings for the first time last year. Still get real excited especially with the Corns. My female Striped het Butter laid 15 eggs with my Butter Stripe male.

lol. It is very exciting and for me, it always will be. The hardest part is the wait for them to hatch

I was at knuckleheads today, and I almost bought us cigars to celebrate.
