aera Mar 25, 2008 05:56 PM

I finished it! The photo of the painting turned out very grainy and a little low res,but you get the idea. Please let me know what you think. It measures 15"x27". Thanks and enjoy! I'll get better pics if you would like to see them.

hey thats good, i like it. how did you do that, as far as copying anything? did you use a picture, or a picture of just a snake in that pose and filled in the backround, or did you just know what a rainbow boa looks like and went from there?

Outstanding! You've got some talent.

Any detail shots? I've love to see it "up close"

saltydog99 Mar 25, 2008 09:23 PM

Nice picture. Very soothing. I see you decided to paint a picture of the "4 stripe" morph rather than a hypo?

That is Phoenix from a pic I took in December of '05...

Nice work again!!!!

Thats awsome! Really good job. What kinda of paints do you like to use? I used to dabble in artwork myself quite a bit but always prefered graphite or charoal. I was too sloppy with paint and could never get good detail or line work like yours.

That is very impressive. You capture a realistic look and posture.

Very nice - I have trouble drawing stick people, so I am in awe of nice art. The subject is great too.

Matt,
...Very nice. They have reptile art shows at some of the larger shows. You should consider entering your work.

What kind of paints did you use? Acrylic?

I typically paint in watercolor, but have dabbled in oil...
