Why would you want to feed live??? The disadvantages of live are the chance of being bitten, minor or life threateningly, and the spread of disease. A rodent trapped in an area with a snake does NOT react the same way as a prey rodent in the wild. In the enclosed area they fight not try to run away. Likewise is the stress on the snake of knowing it is trapped with a dangerous prey.
Frozen lessens the chance of parasitation, zeros the chance of being bitten or injured by prey and has no down side.
The difficulty of switching to live is that the snake is used to not being attacked by it's prey and then has (IMHO) a greater chance of being hurt by live food.
