I have been working on Russian breeding. Have 3 eggs in the incubater, and the girls are still indoors (WI is still too cool to let them out in their pens). If they have a successful summer, i will let you know if i have any to sell. Check out Turtle Town- they have had CBRussians. Try the KS classifieds too. Good Luck ! Jody

Had you been in the UK, I could have helped you out.
Currently around 12 for sale, ranging upto 10mth olds.

Hi Graham, How long is Your incubation time on Your Russians? My eggs are at 30.5C, and i haven't been able to find out how long they take to hatch. Have hatched many many turtle eggs, but these are my first tortoise eggs. Thank You, Jody

Hi Jody

60 - 65 days, @ 30c @ varible 60-70%min humidity.
Candle them at 4 weeks. At 6 weeks you should see darkened "inner" to confirm.

Although I sometimes have infertile eggs, I generally leave them for the first 6 weeks before discarding them.

Hope this helps

Thank You SO much! One of the eggs is 53 days, but i didn't candle it- can see dark spot, and veins. Hope it hatches! And it's only May-so i have a few more months for the girls to clutch-hopefully outside in their habitat. Thanx again, Jody

I got a CB Russian from Turtle Town a couple of years ago. Be vigilant & check the Kingsnake classifieds regularly because they do show up from time to time. Expect to pay between $150 - $200 for one.

I do, or at least plan to.

I have some 1 to 2 year olds that I am considering selling. They are probably males.

Email me for more info and photos if you are interested.
