As babies - almost always!!
As adults that are handled from time to time - almost never!!
With any snake you need to, as Jeff puts it, "listen to them"!! In other words pay attention to how they are responding/reacting. Quite often you'll know before the strike/bite that it's coming and can even avoid it,

I agree, I've been bit a couple of times by my BRBs, but it was always my own fault. But I've also been bit by my corn snake doing something dumb as well. IMO they are very sweet snakes.
