We've got a 1.3 group housed together and have been noticing some interesting behaviors from a couple of the females.
When our male head bobs/jerk to one of the females she responds back with virtually the same type of "male head bob", rather than the slow up down type of response.
One of our other females will head butt our male all over his body. While she's doing this she'll drag her body all over the cage floor. She also rubbed her body all over his.
We haven't noticed any open mouth displays or bitting attempts, but I wandering if this is a type of dominance display from the females?
