Hi everyone, could you help me ID these 2 rats. A friend got them recently off someone else who rescued them from a bad home, so we know nothing about them.

I had suspicions that's what they were, but wanted to be 100% sure
Thanks!

Just one question - is there a way of telling Mexican Bairds babies from other Bairds?
Not that I am aware of, I will have a batch in about 2 months, they are both in shed and have been together all winter. The lay box is already in!

Me too, but they look identical to the northern hatchlings from what I have learned. I also acquired one of the parents offspring and an unrelated male hatchling from Lloyd H. It will be fun to see these babies go through their change!
