New to breeding

Hi,
I have a 4 year old male in with a female I got about three months ago (she is about a year and a half), and after a lot of unsuccessful attempts at mating, my boy finally figured it out!

I've noticed lately that my girl eats a lot more, and is starting to get bigger. I've been giving her lots of water, and have left a box with damp sand in the corner for her to lay in.

Because I am new to this, I was wondering if there is anything critical I should know, or any tips that may be helpful. Any and all comments are greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I would research as much as you can. Keep in mind that the babies are expensive to feed and may be difficult to find homes for. Be sure you have a plan in mind before you decide you are going to incubate eggs.
